What a growth!

Though the polar bear's cub weighs only about 1/3 KG at the time of birth, it grows to weigh as much as 700 kg. If a human baby, which weighs about 3.5 KG at birth, were to grow in like proportion and adult would weigh 7500 KG. 


If all the descendants of just one pair of mice were to survive and multiply, there would be 2 million of them in 2 years!

But even this fantastic rate of reproduction will seem very small in comparison with the tiny bacteria.
One bacterium may grow into billions in just 24 hours!
